With Bevan, Beryl, Bob, Barb and Benjamin, you’ll journey through time to discover hidden secrets and true tales of Brisbane’s favourite suburb.
Local Brisbane comedy company Big Fork Theatre are taking a fresh look at what performing “anywhere” means as part of the 2016 Anywhere Theatre Festival.
“Big Fork Theatre have been performing sketch and improvised comedy in West End for over a year and we love the local people – they’re willing to take a punt on anything new especially if it’s in their back yard,” said Cameron Watson, Big Fork Theatre co-founder.
“We’re excited to take the eccentric and absurd characters to the street and to bring a great group of audience members along!”
The performers on the West End of Future Past: A Comedy Walking Tour are playing hilarious characters – archetypical locals with a depth of knowledge. Chris Martin, Rosa Sottile, Cameron Watson, Taylor Edwards and Jim Reynolds have a broad Southside background.
Tours start at 3pm over two weekends in May (7th & 8th and 14th and 15th), meeting on the corner of Corner of Edmondstone Street and Russell Street in West End.
This Big Fork Theatre production is sure to be one of the most uniquely hilarious experiences of the Anywhere Theatre Festival 2016.
