Alliance Française French Film Festival 2021

Transport yourself to France and experience that Gallic ‘joie de vivre’ when Alliance Française French Film Festival 2021 touches down in Brisbane from 17 March to 13 April during its ‘Tour d’Australie’.

Francophiles and film buffs will be delighted with this year’s curated cinema program of 37 incredible features from established filmmakers and emerging talents. New Artistic Director Karine Mauris is passionate about nurturing new talent and discovering the diverse stories that shine a spotlight on the many rich facets of French life.

Renowned filmmakers featured in the 32nd annual Alliance Française French Film Festival include Anne Fontaine, François Ozon and Nicolas Vanier plus many more. Filmgoers will also discover new auteurs such as Kaouther Ben Hania (The Man Who Sold His Skin), Manele Labidi (Arab Blues) and Chloé Mazlo (Skies of Lebanon).

Every film in the 2021 season is guaranteed to transport and delight with many cinematic inclusions exploring the powerful urge to overcome obstacles, no matter the situation or sacrifice.
