Invitation to residents in flood-affected tin-and-timber houses for a workshop at 2.00 – 4.00pm Sunday 14 August, St Francis Church Hall, 47 Dornoch Terrace, West End.

Risk reduction for future floods: what the Kurilpa community wants known about the 2011 and 2022 floods and what community wants to see happen for better preparedness in the future.

Calling all flood-affected residents of Ryan, Miller, Glenfield, Avebury, Dudley, Carlow, lower Gray Road, end of Montague, Forbes, Orleigh, Hill End Terrace, bottom end Hoogley, Drury Streets.

Resilient Kurilpa is a network of community organisations assisting with short and long-term flood issues in the Kurilpa area. Most members were involved in recovery and disaster response work in 2011 and again this year.

This Resilient Kurilpa event is sponsored by West End Community House (Community Plus), Kurilpa Futures, the Westender, West End Community Association and West End Traders’ Associatio
