Vigil for Voluntary Assisted Dying

September 13 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Queensland, it’s time!
Join this COVID-safe, peaceful Vigil on the eve of the Voluntary Assisted Dying debate.
Show your strong support for Voluntary Assisted Dying, and remember Queenslanders for whom this law did not come soon enough.
This is a COVID-safe event. Please wear a mask, socially distance and use the QR codes to check-in on arrival.
Electric tealights and placards will be provided.
Why not get creative and make your own placard? As a rule, the bigger the better so they show up clearly in photos. Keep them respectful.
We encourage you to bring along photographs of your loved ones who should have had the choice not to suffer.
Twelve million Aussies in four states already have these compassionate laws – why not Queensland?
This event is co-hosted by the QLD4VAD Alliance and the My Life, My Choice Alliance.
Not based in Brisbane? You can join the Vigil at home by tuning into our livestream.
Click ‘Going’ to be notified when we go live.
