“Our menus feature high quality, locally sourced, seasonal produce that reflects everything West End has to offer,” Tim says. “We’ve put together a European-style bistro dinner menu, and a large grazing menu perfectly matched to the perfect beer.”

The Mains Menu includes some melt-in-the-mouth steaks, including a massive 450 gm rib on the bone for the serious diner. The rump, eye fillet and porterhouse also come highly recommended, while you can also enjoy an Archive Burger, vegetarian Ravioli or a mixed grill.

The Grazing Menu is designed to provide the perfect accompaniment to a drink or two. Beginning with bread, dip and cheese platters, the Menu also includes spring rolls, white bait and fries, as well as lamb cutlets, grilled haloumi and chrizo platters and more. The salt and pepper calamari is particularly, and deservedly, popular.

Archives also offers a classic breakfast menu, 8am till 12 noon Friday to Sunday, ideal for those leisurely mornings when you have the time to enjoy your food.

The Big Breakfast definitely takes a bit of time to consume, consisting as it does of eggs, bacon, pork & sage sausage, baby eye fillet, butter mushrooms, hash brown, grilled tomato, salt & pepper spinach and crusty sourdough bread. Take a healthy appetite with you.

Finally, Archive is currently running a Two For One promotion every Wednesday. If you order two main meals from the special menu, you get the cheaper one free. The offer applies every Wednesday from 12noon to 3pm and 5pm till 10pm.

Archive Beer Bistro is located at 100 Boundary Road in the heart of West End, and is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am till late, with breakfast available from 7am on Saturday and Sunday.
