Community Plus and West End Community House are asking locals to help bring a new, local community space to life!
The South Brisbane Croquet Club in Musgrave Park is being renovated into a community space for everyone to enjoy! This lovely venue will be available for community use and for hire for:
- festivals
- community markets
- meetings, parties & celebrations
- live performance & entertainment
- art classes, exhibitions & demonstration
- croquet, sports, family & community activities
- conferences & training
Since 2010, West End Community House and Community Plus have raised and spent $200,000 renovating this heritage building, but need another $50,000 to finish her off!
With the help of the Pledge a Plank campaign, the community venue will be completed by the end of August 2015 for everyone in the local area to use and enjoy.
Your Name Immortalised in Decking!
Donate $150 (more for groups and corporates) to help with the renovations and you’ll get your own special message on your donated plank! It can be your own name, or you can dedicate it to someone else. What a beautiful gift! All donations gratefully accepted and those over $2 are tax deductible.
