The recently renovated deck of the Croquet Club in Musgrave Park rocked out to the infectious Klezmer rhythms of local band Zvonsky on Saturday night. A range of well known local identities hit the dance floor in various states of enthusiasm.
A dramatic lightning show set the scene but fortunately did not dampen the dance moves.
Westenders can catch Zvonsky again next Saturday without even crossing Ipswich Rd. They are playing Reverse Garbage in Woollongabba, just by Park Rd Railway Station. Get there to enjoy a free evening of music, dance performance, fashion parade and finger food. You can do a bit of late night, relaxed Christmas shopping as well as it is the grand opening of Carnivale Conscientious: Reverse Garbage’s annual shop fest featuring over 30 local, upcycling artists.
