The Griffiths Australia Day Awards were initiated by Kevin Rudd, way back in 1999, to acknowledge and pay tribute to those outstanding community-minded individuals who help make the South Side a great place to live.
Terri Butler said: āIām continually inspired by the exceptional work and dedication of so many South Siders who volunteer their time for the benefit of the community. They could be caring for the aged, or those who are unwell, working with young people, the environment or supporting one of the hundreds of our local groups and organisations in Griffith.ā
